SHOCKWATCH

From forklift safety to the proper transport of temperature-sensitive and fragile goods, ShockWatch helps businesses reduce damage- and maintenance-related costs and improve workplace safety.

ShockWatch ImpactManager®: Safety Monitoring and Access Control

Unauthorized or careless operation of material handling equipment creates unnecessary costs for your business. ShockWatch ImpactManager® Monitors reduce damage-related costs and enable your business to operate more safely by controlling access, monitoring usage, and detecting impacts.

ShockWatch provides three versions of ImpactManager — ImpactManager RF, ImpactManager ID, and ImpactManager SC — letting you choose the monitor with the access, impact, and usage features and capabilities that best meet your needs.

ImpactManager RF and ImpactManager ID

ImpactManager RF and ID The ShockWatch ImpactManager RF and ImpactManager ID are access control-, impact-, and utilization-monitoring devices for material handling equipment. These products are designed to reduce damage-related expenses due to improper operation and create a safer work environment.

When mounted to a forklift, the ImpactManager RF and ImpactManager ID detect impacts and record event details, such as date, time, and driver ID. The data is then transmitted wirelessly (for the RF) or downloaded manually through several user interface options. The devices also assist in controlling access by ensuring that only trained or certified drivers operate the equipment.

The ImpactManager RF and ImpactManager ID software allow companies to customize equipment operating parameters and generate any number of reports and graphs for further analysis of driver safety, utilization, and maintenance schedules.

ImpactManager SC

ImpactManager SCThe ShockWatch ImpactManager SC is an impact-detection device for forklifts and other material handling equipment. Mounted directly on the equipment, ImpactManager SC utilizes a patented and adjustable sensor which sounds an alarm upon any impact exceeding a pre-defined threshold. This immediate identification allows for more timely corrective action and reinforces safe operations.

With ImpactManager SC in place, operators’ driving habits improve, which results in reduced damage to equipment, facilities, and products, as well as reduced costs.

ImpactManager SC Product Options

The ImpactManager SC is available in the following models:

SC1000

  • The SC1000 is self-contained and does not require any wiring for installation. It has an internal audible alarm and 9V battery.

SC1010

  • The SC1010 draws power from the forklift battery. This model is practical for users who prefer not to change batteries in environments in which operating temperature can affect the battery life.

SC1040

  • The SC1040 is powered by a 9V battery and allows integration of forklift accessories (such as horn and lighting) to alert supervisors when there is an impact.

SC1060

  • The SC1060 is powered by the forklift battery and can activate the horn and lighting when there is an impact. This product is ideal in environments in which loud noise is a concern.

SC1080

  • The SC1080 is powered by the forklift battery and uses a remote panel, which houses the keyswitch and test switch controls, for mounting within the vehicle.

All models can be mounted with a peel-off adhesive or with a bracket and screws.

ShockWatch EquipManager®: Equipment Monitoring for Workplace Safety and Cost Reduction

The ShockWatch EquipManager® is a wireless fleet management system that ensures OSHA compliance, controls access, detects impacts, and monitors equipment operation to improve safety while reducing damage-related costs.

Combining the functions of the ImpactManager® and the UsageManager® into a single wireless design, the EquipManager detects impacts and collects usage data in real time. The configurable pre-shift safety checklist — accessible on an audio-visual display — ensures that you stay OSHA compliant, and dramatically increases safety in your facility. Plus, enhanced tracking capabilities allow you to quickly locate your equipment when you need it. Automatic alerts via e-mail, text message, and phone keep you informed about maintenance and training needs so you can plan accordingly and minimize the related costs.

An extensive array of sensor inputs gather usage, impact, and operator data, while configurable inputs and events allow you to collect custom data. Collecting and analyzing this data is simple with the EquipManager software and reporting functionality. Customize your settings and restrictions, and record events so that you always know your facility is operating safely — with the data to prove it.

The EquipManager system can be easily customized to reflect the unique needs of your workplace. By focusing on what is most important to your organization, you will have the real-time data you need to keep your equipment running safely and in compliance.
